Philips Avent have always had a name you can trust when it comes to baby sterilisers but this one must be their best by far, it is absolutely brilliant.
On opening the box there was four parts: the base (heating unit), 2 baskets and a lid. Also supplied were a 4ox bottle, a dummy and tongs.
It is very slim so takes up very little space in my kitchen and depending on how you assemble it can be used for different functions. It has 3 ways of assembling it depending on how you want to use it:
1 – Smallest basket on the base allows you to use it to sterilise dummies, teethers, spoons and other small items.
2 – Larger size basket on the base allows you to sterilise larger items such as breast pumps, cup and bowls.
3 – The larger size basket with the smaller basket on top of that allows you to sterilise all bottle types .
When you assemble to the size you require, fill the basket with the items that you want to sterilise and press the power button. The sterilising light will come on and when it has finished sterilising (about 6 minutes) the unit will power off.
This is a great steriliser. It is fast and effective and kills 99.99% of germs without chemicals. It is small and slim and easily adjusted without any hassle.
Overall this is an excellent steriliser and although RRP is about £60 it is excellent value for money.
