To mark breast cancer awareness month, the Alan Day Volkswagen dealerships in London are having a ‘pink day’ this Friday 28th October. The showrooms will be ‘dressed’ with pink decorations and all the staff will be dressed in pink for a donation of £2 each. Collection boxes will be in every site and there will be a prize for the best dressed person at each showroom. There will also be pink cupcakes and signed copies of Stacey Solomon’s book to sell.
They are hoping to raise over £3000 for Breast Cancer charities.
Alan Day Volkswagen is a family owned business that has been delivering the highest levels of customer service to its customers since 1972.

The team’s number one objective is to provide an unparalleled level of customer service and buying experience with honesty and trust every time. Alan Day has 4 sites located in London – Hampstead, the City and 2 in Southgate.
They sell approximately 2500 new cars, 1500 used and 300 vans per year and they service approximately 40,000 cars and vans in a typical year.
The Alan Day sales department were ranked 1st, 2nd and 15th out of 261 Volkswagen retailers in 2009 VW customer service awards and their staff satisfaction measure was in the top 5% of VW retailers in the UK at all 3 of their sites.
Quote from Paul Tanner:
“The pink day is something we have been involved in for 3 years now as we know this cancer has affected many of our staff and customers. We are all too busy thinking about everyday things and sometimes you need to stop and think about how you can help other people. We had a great response last year and raised £3,000 on the day. This year we are hoping to make £4,000 from staff and customers.”
