Aldi Specialbuys Workzone Men’s Work Trousers Review

Reviewed by Keith Mitchell

The Workzone men’s work trousers from Aldi are really nice looking trousers, made of reasonably hard wearing material, certainly soft enough and comfortable. There is plenty of room in them and they are not restricting. They are probably a bit hot for summer use. With six inch elasticated part each side of the waist band gives about 2 inches expansion either side, ideal for bending twisting etc… when you need a bit of give in the  waist area.

They have plenty of pockets; 2 patch pockets on rear, one pocket with Velcro fastened flap on left thigh, one ordinary and one zipped pocket on left waist one ordinary pocket on right waist. 3 small open pockets right thigh, big enough for phone, pens, screws etc… There is also a loop on right side for a hammer and a little plastic loop attached to waist band that could come in quite handy to clip keys to. The best bit of all is two Velcro fastening pouches for knee pads. No more ties cutting into legs when crouched. The knee pads are soft to kneel on, similar to football or hockey pad type material, when you stand up they hang just right in front of the knees, not restricting movement, easy to fit and use.

The trousers retail at £8.99 so well worth the money, the pads were supplied for trial purpose and cost an extra £3.99 a pair but certainly a good addition. Flexible and light. My son-in-law tried them as well and thought they were very good. He uses similar type of trousers for work so I thought his opinion would be valid.
