Brewers Fayre: The Coach House, Trafford Centre, Manchester Review

Reviewed by Debbie Talbot

I was delighted to get the chance to review Brewers Fayre the Coach House at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. My friend and I decided to go down on a Thursday evening for their World of Curries all you can eat buffet. We arrived and parked in the spacious car park. When we entered we were politely greeted and quickly shown to our table. The older children chose the chicken dippers children’s meal. My friend ordered lamb shank. My 21 month old twins were allowed to be fed from my buffet plate which was great. Refillable soft drinks were available which are fantastic value.

We ordered our meals at different times as my friend and her daughter were initially having the buffet. All the meals arrived within a decent time frame from when they were ordered. There was a slight delay with one of the children’s meals which was quickly resolved. The children’s meals were good sized portions and they thoroughly enjoyed them. My friend said her lamb shank was lovely.

While we were waiting for the meals the older children played in the indoor play area. This costs just £2.00 per child and is a great way of keeping them amused while their meals are prepared.

When I went up to get my buffet meal I was spoilt for choice. I chose Bombay potatoes, garlic naan bread, poppadoms and a thai curry dish. I was glad to see that there was a vegetarian option and also curries of various strengths (mild, medium, hot). There was even a selection of relishes available such as mint sauce. My toddler twins enjoyed trying a selection of the things on my plate. I went up for a second plateful of food which I enjoyed just as much as the first. The food was hot and tasty.

Whilst in the restaurant I visited the toilet facilities which were kept clean and tidy. All of the staff we came across were helpful and friendly.

I enjoyed my all you can eat buffet so much and at £6.99 (per adult) it was great value. I would love to go back on some of the other buffet nights:

Monday – Mexican (from 5pm)
Tuesday – Italian Night (from 5pm)
Wednesday – Burgers and Hot Dogs (from 5pm)
Thursday  – World of Curries (from 5pm)
Friday – Chip Shop Night (from 5pm)
Saturday – Chicken Feast (from 5pm)
Sunday – Sunday Carvery (from 12 noon)

Rating: 5/5
