My boyfriend and I went to a fairly new restaurant called Brooklyn Bite on the King’s Road, London on Sunday 30th September for lunch. It was a cute little place and we had a nice warm welcome. It had a very classy interior, in keeping with the area without being over the top. The serving staff were very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful.

We had only been there a few minutes when the owner came over to introduce himself. Again, a very friendly introduction and we were looking forward to the food to come. We ordered a bottle of wine, and the antipasti and meatballs to start… both were lovely, especially the meatballs. We then both had a calzone (meat and 5 cheeses) and really enjoyed them. Then the highlight were our desserts, we both ordered the cheesecake which we’re pretty sure were made from Oreos… these were amazing!

The prices were very reasonable for such great food. You can also go downstairs for a few cocktails, which we were told was going to be used to show old 50’s movies in the near future… a great idea and I’m sure will be very popular.

Overall, the food was great, staff were friendly and we had lovely time. The restaurant really reflected the name ‘Brooklyn Bite’, a little taste of NYC in the heart of London and truly adds another culinary dimension to an already bustling area.

We would definitely recommend!
