Burger Meats Bun Glasgow Review

Burger Meats Bun

Burger Meats Bun is a fantastic addition to the Glasgow city centre casual dining scene. Its basement setting, intimate but not cramped, sets the tone for a professional and friendly experience, where the food and the service are close to faultless.

They’ve gone for a fairly small menu – beef, chicken and mushroom burgers plus a choice of wings and fries – with a view to giving each dish a little bit of extra love. There’s certainly nothing mass-produced about the food, which was going down a storm not just at our table but all around the restaurant – tellingly heaving for a Tuesday night.

Special mentions for the gorgeous relish on the beef burger, the fiery and incredibly moreish Thai chilli cheese fries, and quite possibly the cutest dessert you’ll ever see. This little gem consisted of a milkshake in a kind of milk bottle-shaped shot glass alongside a sweet “burger” made up of macaroon for the bun, a chocolate thin for the burger, a slice of mango for the cheese and some strawberry sauce for the ketchup. The little kid within you will never tire of eating these!

With some quality craft beers and delicious cocktails on the drinks menu and plenty of banter from the staff, it’s a fulfilling, and filling, night all round. We'll certainly be back!
