We went for a day out at Drayton Manor, our party consisted of 2 adults and children aged from 2 – 8.

Drayton Manor is excellent value for money and so much cheaper compared to other family theme parks. Parking was large and easily accessible.

Thomas Land was loved by all, especially the younger ones.

The main theme park, which we found fantastic, really did cater for families. A lot of the family rides allowed children on at 90cm which I thought was really good as this meant the whole family can ride together, on rides which satisfied the older children and adults as well as the younger children.

One thing we did notice was there didn’t seem to be a lot of picnic areas if you decided to take your own lunch. However, saying that, there were a lot of choices to buy lunch from.

Entry to the park was quick and easy, although there was some queuing time we did go in August so this was to be expected.

What we also found really good was some of the rides had a child swap going on which means if you had smaller children that couldn’t go on a particular ride, you could all queue together then one adult wait with the child till the others ride then that adult could go on the ride after you without having to queue again – fantastic idea!

All in all we had a fantastic day at Drayton Manor and will be visiting again.
