After spending out a lot of money on your new iPad Air you won’t want to damage it. I have been trying out the Dux for iPad Air protective case to help protect against scratches, small spillages and even the occasion knock or drop.
The Dux case is a rubberised case with reinforced corners. It has a clear plastic back so you can have your iPad on show or maybe add a picture to customize your case. The lid has a magnetic closure to keep the lid firmly closed when not in use. The lid also fold backwards and with the aid of the magnetic clasp stand in a upright position so that you can put on a table and still use the iPad without having to hold it.
I received the Dux for iPad in blue, but there are several colours available.
The iPad sits very snuggly in the case and the lid protects against any accidental scratches or spillages on the screen. The rubberised corners are quite hard with a little bit of flexibility so should protect the iPad against a short drop (I haven’t purposely dropped it with the iPad in). And the holes for the power cable, camera and buttons line up perfectly.
With the iPad inside the case once you open or close the magnetic clasp the iPad will turn on/off which is great for saving battery life.
Overall, the case looks stylish with the clear hard plastic back that allows you to add your own photo or image. It is well made and of excellent quality, durable and wipes down easily. While I haven’t done a drop test with the iPad in it, it does get thrown in and out of my bag everyday and the the iPad remains undamaged and looking like new.
At £49.99 it is a small price to pay to protect such a valuable piece of equipment and definitely worth investing in.
