We are due on holiday next week so I was really happy to receive the holiday postcard book to review. When I opened the packaging I was impressed, it’s a lovely little book containing 24 completely different postcards to colour in. The card is exceptionally good quality and really thick, unlike a lot of the flimsy postcards you get these days you don’t need to put these in a separate envelope to be sure of them arriving safely.
Not only is there a different picture to colour in on each card there is also a space to do your own drawing e.g. of a certain place you have visited on your trip. The pictures on the front of the cards range from camper vans to seaside scenes and aeroplanes and would suit any age group as they are fun but not babyish. On the rear of each card there is plenty of space to write the address, a message and add a stamp. Another nice touch is at the bottom of each card where the words “card coloured in by… aged…” is written, a really great way to further personalise your postcard.
This book of cards will be a welcome addition to our holiday packing, and there are plenty of cards to last for both outward and return journeys. I am always looking for something to occupy my son on the plane and these are a great cost effective product. Plus they don’t get thrown away like a colouring book they actually get used and sent onto relatives and friends.
As soon as I opened these and saw the quality I was straight onto the website eggnogg.co.uk to see what other items I could purchase for Christmas presents. They have a great selection of different products on their site and from what I have seen so far I would highly recommend them. I can certainly see these colouring cards becoming a firm favourite for holidays both in the UK and abroad.
