Explore Europe’s eeriest Halloween events for under £70

Thrill seekers can enjoy for a last minute Halloween trip to Europe this month for under £70 with Eurolines.

With creepy events cropping up across the continent there’s something to scare all ages and budgets.  Here is Eurolines’ pick of the spookiest spectaculars available by coach for under £70 – even if you book the day before.

Enjoy a supernatural skate off
What:Amsterdam Halloween Festival
When:28 – 31 October

This eclectic Halloween bonanza offers a range of eerie events for all ages. Take part in a sinister all night screening of horror films, a fiendish fancy dress party at some of the city’s biggest nightclubs or skate through the city centre in your scariest outfit as part of mass roller skating event.  Best of all, most events are free!

Eurolines offer return services to Amsterdam for £65 per person – customers can also claim 35% off entry to Amsterdam’s famous Dungeons. For more information visit www.halloweenamsterdam.com/

Get spooked by the sea
Where: Ostend, Belgium
When: Until 6 November 2011

Each year the seaside town of Ostend transforms its historic Fort Napoleon into ‘Fort Fright’ for Europe’s largest Halloween celebration on the coast. The 19th century fort is distorted into a sinister stronghold giving visitors the chance to learn about it’s dark history, enjoy a spooky themed workshop or have their picture taken with a gruesome Napoleonic Pirate.

Eurolines offer return services to Bruges for £63 per person. Ostend is short journey by train, more information at: www.halloween-oostende.be

Take a trés traditionnelle tour of gothic Paris
Where: Across Paris

The French tend to resist the Americanised Halloween celebration, but Paris is still host to an array of supernatural spectacles. Thrill seeking tourists can visit the skeleton clad Catacombs, take a spooky ghost tour of the city or tour Paris’ famous gothic graveyard Père Lachaise.  However, if you really want to embrace the American experience, opt for Disneyland Paris which hosts a month long (not so scary) celebration.

Eurolines offer return services to Paris for £63 per person. For more information about the sites visit www.disneylandparis.com, www.mysteriesofparis.com/, www.perelachaisecemetery.com/ or www.catacombes-de-paris.fr
