Michelle Fox (Emily Booth), aka Foxy, is a television presenter for “Weird Worlde” and when the ratings start to drop she has to find a new story to grab people’s interest. When news of an alien abduction in Wales involving the death of one man and his girlfriend getting pregnant by the aliens Michelle sets off to a remote Welsh island, only accessible at low tide by crossing the Devil’s Spine, with her crew. Her crew includes a cameraman, sound man, 2 actors and a self-proclaimed alien expert. None of the crew believes the story.

On arrival they meet 3 very weird, English hating, Welsh farmers but that’s the least of their worries. Angry aliens are wandering the farm and mutilating cattle and seem to enjoy it.

The crew are now in a fight for survival and grab whatever weapons they can to defend themselves including a crossbow, shotgun, machete, chainsaw, rotary tiller, hammer, cricket bat and being a farm, a combine harvester!

Overall, Evil Aliens is a British slapstick horror-comedy sci-fi farce that despite its silly sounding plot I found to be very enjoyable, funny and has a really high body count with lots of blood and dismembered body parts.

Who would have thought that a song by The Wurzels would feature in a horror film. The track Combine Harvester is used when they are hunting aliens in a field and running them over with a combine harvester! Sounds silly buy funny.

I loved this film. The comedy, horror and sci-fi aspects all work well even if the aliens are clearly someone in a suit.

If you like slapstick, farcical comedies with aliens and very gory, bloody close encounters you will love Evil Aliens.
