Final Touch Ice Bottle Chiller Review

Reviewed by Shelly Harper

The Final Touch Ice Bottle Chiller is the perfect addition to any special event, ideal for chilling a variety of bottles and great as a romantic candle holder.

Simple to use, just add water and create a conversation piece or if you feel creative, add your decoration of choice for a stunning one of a kind centrepiece. Examples of decorative items you can add to the water ready for freezing are:

– Add sliced fruit and/or whole berries
– Food Colouring
– Real/Artificial Flowers
– Plain Distilled Water (To achieve the clearest ice possible)

The possibilities are endless and best of all; the Final Touch Ice Bottle Chiller lasts about 6 hours as a bottle chiller or about 4 hours as a candle holder.

Upon receiving the Final Touch Ice Bottle Chiller I opened the box to find:

– 1 x See-Through Ice Mould with Lid
– 1 x Simulated Stainless Steel Display Stand (Catches Melting Ice)
– Complete Instructions which includes more Ideas, Tips and Tricks

According to the instructions I could create an elegant centrepiece in 3 easy steps so as per the instructions I filled the mould with water until I reached the line (1.5cm or ½ inch away from the top edge) put the lid on top and popped it into the freezer for 24 hours, ready for my Friday night with the girls.

Being impatient as I am, Friday morning, approximately 12 hours later, I thought I would check the mould to see if it had completely frozen to which it was not so as per the instructions, you do need to keep the mould in the freezer for the full 24 hours.

By the time I got home from work Friday evening, the mould had completely frozen so I removed it from the freezer and left it to stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes. At this point, you turn over the mould so the ice can slide out but I obviously hadn’t left the mould at room temperature long enough. In this case, the instructions advised me to pour lukewarm water into the centre cavity, leave it for 3 minutes, discard the water then the ice should slide out. This time it worked so I placed the ice on the bowl within the display stand, ready to collect the melting ice.

Finally I popped our already chilled bottle of Cava into the centre cavity and placed the Final Touch Ice Bottle Chiller onto the table ready for my friends and I to share after their many questions of what the Final Touch Ice Bottle Chiller was and how it worked. To be honest, we couldn’t rate it highly enough particularly because it saved us several trips to and from the fridge and it lasted around 5 hours, which for my friends and I was the whole night.

I personally found the Final Ice Bottle Chiller easy to prepare and use, convenient and perfect for keeping wine cool once it has been opened. All you have to do is line up the next bottle!

Next time I use the mould, my daughter has already decided she will be trying out some of the suggested ways to turn it into a decorative piece.
