It only seems like yesterday that it was Christmas, where everybody was unwrapping their Christmas gifts and having fun. Now Valentine’s Day is fast approaching (Wednesday 14 February 2018, which is also Ash Wednesday), and time for more gifts. So I have compiled a short wishlist for things I would like to receive on that special day, or what I would like to give to a loved one.
The first item on my wishlist would be a new car. My car is over 10 years old and costing me a lot insurance wise. I have been looking at options which would allow me to replace it this year. I am delighted to have found www.yes-lease.co.uk, the car leasing website. I thought that a brand new car would be out of my budget, but there are so many affordable options available on this website. What I really liked, being someone who knows a good few people who run their own business, was that there are options for not just personal leasing, but for business leasing. I am on a tight budget, so I decided to do a search on £100-200 per month. I was impressed with how many options came up. I have fallen in love with the Smart forFour Hatchback on a personal contact hire deal. I would only need an initial rental payment of £386.96 including VAT and £129.32 including VAT monthly rental on a 48-month agreement.
The car looks stunning. I was pleasantly surprised just how many options there were on such a modest budget. What appeals most is having a brand new car. I have spent a fortune on my older cars. There’s a full manufacturer’s warranty and free breakdown cover as well as some other things. The website is clearly laid out and you can see the insurance group of every car you are considering. If you are torn between a few cars, you can even compare various options.
Now for my choice for that special person in your life. I love a sale and on the Terraces Menswear website there is a 20% off sale items deal running at the moment. So what do you get for that difficult to buy for person? A pair of trainers. There is so much choice on www.terracesmenswear.co.uk. My budget is the lower end so £40-50, however there is a good selection for all price brackets. My pick is a pair of Diadora B.Original VLZ Royal/White priced at £42. I have to admit to being rather torn between these trainers and a North Sails backpack in lead grey.
Lastly to my favourite wishlist pick, Dandelion Interiors. I moved into a new flat a couple of months ago and I do tend to spend a lot of my time picking out products which make my new flat cosier. I like so many items from this website. The Franklin Desk Lamp Red by Elstead Lighting is simply gorgeous. It fits in well with the colour scheme I chose for the master bedroom and at £125 is within my budget. For my living room I picked out a Larvik Swivel and Faux Leather Recliner Chair Brown By Serene Furnishings which is currently in the sale for a bargain £244.00. This would be perfect for spending a relaxing evening watching a romantic film on Valentine’s night. You can see more of their gorgeous range at www.dandelioninteriors.co.uk.
I hope you like my picks. There was so much to choose from that it took me a good while to settle on just a few items that make great alternatives to the standard gifts of flowers and chocolate.
I hope you all get at least one item from your Valentine’s wishlist this year, but if not, just enjoy the day!
