Let me start by saying yippee! These are like a mini version of an adult mitten. We’ve had a fair array of mittens lent and gifted to us over the winter period for our now 4 month old, and the majority are either so fiddly to get on that you give up after 1 hand and put her in a different all in one suit with built in scratch mitts, or the mitts are so short in length that you don’t have to be Houdini to escape, one good flailing flap of her little arms and they are off.

Our ‘Princess Pink’ mittens arrived prettily wrapped in tissue and bagged in degradable packaging, a nice addition to compliment the free postage. They are a very pretty shade of pink that goes with outfits and sleep suits from an array of manufacturers. The material is soft and high quality, and the soft Velcro fastening is key to making these mittens user friendly as they not only protect your little one from scratches but also protect your clothes from the ‘Velcro bobbling’ that one gets when traditional Velcro snags on clothes.

As well as bedtime, these are also great for afternoon naps where you may not usually get your little one changed into an integrated scratch mit sleep suit.

Sizing wise I’d imagine they would have been too big for her before she was about 3 months old, but it’s better to have growing room than them be tight, and all the sizes are clear on the website to aid pre-purchasing questions.

They can easily be fastened over the top of clothing, thus removing the need for them to be strung and go underneath a top. This also enables you to put them on once your little one is drowsy or asleep without waking them.

All in all a nice little addition to her all year round wardrobe.
