I was very excited to see the changes made down at Land of Play. We, myself and my 2 year old twins, arrived and a lovely member of staff helped us get signed in. We were given a shoe number when they took my boys shoes off of me. The boys ran into the play area and were off to play in the under 5’s area. I was delighted to see that there is now just one entrance to the area and it has a gate on it. I could keep my boys together in the under 5’s area, as mummy is not quite as brave as daddy when it comes to the big play structure.
I was there that day to meet some other local twin mums. It is the ideal venue for having a drink and a snack while your kids play. Whilst we didn’t try out the new sports pitch, we saw so many children thoroughly enjoying it while we were there.
I bought soft drinks, scrambled egg on toast and tea cakes at a very reasonable cost. There was even a fantastic deal available on refillable squash and a cookie.
The toilet and changing facilities were spotless and clearly checked on a regular basis. The staff are just so helpful and have been on each and every occasion I have been there.
A great play area for children, I know my twins certainly love it.
