When a nondescript package arrive at our house I had no idea what an amazing amount of fun was enclosed. The B Mat-a-Matics is just fantastic! We all love it in this house as the fun we have had both young and old!
The Mat-a-Matics is basically a dance mat. There are a number of settings that can be used to have fun. Designed for ages 3 to 10 this 40 something also was laughing out loud at the games they were playing. You could say the Mat-a-Matics is a multi-purpose entertainment unit!
The first setting we tried was Memory Music. As the name implies the mat plays a tune on various pads and the aim is to memorize the sequence and play it back. Hit a wrong note and you lose. I remember a similar game when I was growing up that you played with your hands but I think it’s more fun to play with your feet as not only is it a test of memory it’s a great way of exercising too.
The next setting that was pushed was Wacky Sounds. This caused much laughter as the sounds were outrageously rude and everyone thought this was great. The younger members of the family (3 year old twin boys) ran across the mat trying to make the funniest sequence of wacky sounds.
I tried Super Dance setting next but have to say this is when I realised that I might be a bit past it as I couldn’t keep up. The Mat-a-Matics had beaten me! Just this once mind you. I will keep trying and I will be back to beat it. Will I win? Probably not but it will be great fun trying and will get my lazy body up off the couch for some energetic fun.
The last setting I tried was Melody Mix which is similar to Super Dance but even more fun. The Mat-a-Matics combines dance memory exercise and above all fun! Fun for all the family to enjoy. I think I might cancel my gym membership and just try the Mat-a-Matics as a form of exercise!
A great way to have fun, stay active and get some exercise. It was enjoyed by the whole family from the 3 years old, the 10 years old to the 40+ adults. Highly recommended.
