I was very excited to be chosen to review clothing from Five Little Monkeys Children’s wear.
I quickly got in touch with Emma and had a browse through her photographs to choose an item of clothing to review and on contacting her she said that as I had triplets then we couldn’t leave 2 of my boys out and agreed to send me an item each.
I was spoilt for choice when choosing outfits, but unfortunately my first choice was out of stock, so I went for my second choice of short/tee-shirts sets. I do like to dress my boys the same or matching, however as this is a small company they were a little limited in the number of items in the same size, They tend to just have 2 of each item in any one size, so I had to choose 2 different styles. Emma was great and took a photo of the 3 outfits so I could see what they looked like together and also as one was a smaller size I could see the difference.
When my parcel arrived, it was packaged beautifully and the personalised bags were great – they would make a lovely gift, even more special.
The outfits were from 2 different manufacturers and therefore the materials were of different quality, however they both looked great on and wash really well. We all know that clothes sizes vary from shop to shop and there is no exception with this company too, the sizing’s for my chosen outfits were also very different, the smaller outfit is size 6-12 months but is more or less the same size as the other 2 that are size 12-18 months, this is not really a problem for my boys and does mean that we can mix and match them a bit, this could be a problem for others.
Overall I am very happy with the clothes I was chosen to review and would definitely recommend Five Little Monkeys Children’s Wear to my family and friends, and will order with them again, the communication was great and once I had decided on outfits and supplied the photographs for the bags the service was very speedy.
