OXO Tot 4 Piece Feeding Set Review

Reviewed by Dan Ferguson

I have just received a parcel from the postman and unpackaged it to discover the OXO Tot 4-piece Feeding Set. It arrived in a lovely, well presented box meaning it could also make a perfect gift.

The plate is clever. It has a weighted non-slip bottom with a removable curved ring which is ideal for preventing those runaway peas! Even when the plate is used without the additional ring it still has relatively high sides making it easier for your little ones to load up their cutlery.

Again, the bowl has the weighted non-slip bottom and is of a good size with high sides. The bowl also comes with a lid meaning it can be used as a snack pot too.

The fork and spoon both have fairly chunky handles making them easy to hold. The undersides of the handles are soft and made from a non-slip material which is great for preventing your spoon from slipping down into your bowl of cereal. Another feature of the fork and spoon is the flat spot on the underside of the handles to stop them rolling. The fork tines are fairly rounded and not sharp so there is no need for concern about damage or injury.

These sets come in a range of colours including green, blue and pink and are priced at approximately £18 for the 4 piece set including; 1 x plate, 1 x bowl (with lid), 1 x fork and 1 x spoon.

Overall this is a very good product with some really useful features however I feel the £18 price tag is rather high and would put people off.
