The Lowry theatre is extremely easy to get to and well signposted. It has easy access for car, bus or metro link visitors. There are plenty of nearby car parking spaces available for car drivers.
Both myself and my partner ended up parking at The Lowry Shopping Outlet so we could browse the shops and have a few drinks before the show started… plus a bonus is parking is free if you buy something from one of the shops or dine at one of the many restaurants or bars.
Once we arrive at The Lowry we were greeted and welcomed by the ladies on the ticket desk, we were shown which theatre we needed to go to (Quays). We had pre-booked seats, the seats where comfy and we had a brilliant view of the stage and performers! There are also disability facilities available.
The show started with a support comedian before Paul Foot made his appearance, we haven’t laughed as much as we did in a long time, both comedians involved the audience and were randomly targeting people in the audience to pull jokes on. We could see both the comedians clearly and hear them perfectly.
Half way through the performance there was an interval which gave us the opportunity to stretch our legs, use the toilet and to buy any beverages or snacks, we could either eat/drink them in the bar area or in the theatre whilst watching the performance which made it feel very homely and cosy.
As the show didn’t start until late evening we didn’t get the chance to see the surrounding areas including the Vintage Christmas Markets which were located right outside the Lowry, next time we will take advantage by going for a walk around the quays which surround The Lowry.
I shall definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for future shows. A very good, fun and enjoyable evening and would definitely recommended Paul Foot…
