Peppa Pig’s Adventure is a fantastic live show that kept children and parents thoroughly entertained from start to finish. I attended with my three-year-old daughter who described this show as ‘amazing’.
The story begins in the school before Peppa and George take a camping trip. There are lots of characters from the television show including Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, Suzy Sheep, Pedro Pony and Madame Gazelle.
The show itself is great fun, entertaining, colourful, very interactive and we would definitely go and see it again. It is performed at a good pace for children and is easy to follow – there were children from baby age to six or seven year olds, although I would say it is probably best suited to 3-5 year olds.
It is not very often that my daughter will sit still and watch something for more than 10 minutes but she sat through the whole thing and was entranced by it.
The is a scene where it is raining and one of the performers squirted the audience with a water gun and everybody – parents included – loved it!
The characters are a combination of large puppets controlled by performers and some mascot type characters too.
This was our first visit to Preston Guild Hall and it is a great venue. We had fantastic seats with a brilliant view of the stage – it was easy to find and there is a large and reasonably priced car park a short walk away.
After the show there were Peppa Pig balloons on sale along with some toys for children – lots of parents were persuaded to part with a few pounds for the enthusiastic children.
It was a great afternoon and one we both loved – I highly recommended this show for parents whose children love Peppa and George!
Tickets cost from £16.50 to £18.50 (booking fees may apply).
