Progress 4 Section Portion Frying Pan Review

Reviewed by Debbie Talbot

I love cooking from scratch, so I was delighted to receive this Progress 4 Section Portion pan to review.

Progress have been going since 1931. It’s to have products from such a well-established company.

The Portion Pan came in minimal packaging, which is a good thing for the environment. The first thing I did was picked it up to see how heavy it was for me to lift. I was pleased to that it was not too heavy or a strain on my wrists. The pan itself is made of die-cast aluminium and has a non-stick surface. The Bakelite handle is both soft and cool to touch as well as comfortable to hold. It comes with a 10 year guarantee.

The Portion Pan measures 49 x 35 x 5.6cm and is split up into 4 separate frying sections, therefore enabling cooking of multiple items at once in their own section of the pan.

As you can see from the picture, I cooked mushrooms, egg and bacon in the pan. I am watching what I eat, so it was great to be able to split the foods up into the various sections of the pan. My breakfast tasted lovely and the pan was so easy to wash afterwards (it is also dishwasher safe).

It is excellent value for money due to the quality of the pan. It is easy to use and the different sections means I don’t have to use different pans (so even saves on the washing up). Despite the 4 different sections, I found that the all the food cooked evenly and tasted great.

A great frying pan that makes frying food a lot easier without the need for lots of pans.
