When the Disney Frozen 4 in a Box from Ravensburger arrived and my children, who are 4 and 2, saw the box they were very excited about receiving Frozen jigsaws. They, like most children I know, are Frozen mad so were very keen to get it opened and start them. In order to do so I had to cut through the cellophane sealed layer, which I liked the item having as it ensures that no parts have been lost before receipt. I have bought jigsaws from shops before that haven’t been wholly sealed and have had bits missing.

The box they came in is sturdy and has pictures on the front of the 4 jigsaws contained within it. It has survived my children fighting over it to look at the pictures on the front so must be quite robust. I like that the item is made of recycled board and comes with a quality guarantee.

The item consists of a 12 piece Sven jigsaw, a 16 piece Olaf one, a 20 piece Anna one and a 24 piece Elsa one. There weren’t any specific instructions but they weren’t really needed anyway as the items are self explanatory. Each jigsaw is a very similar size overall so the pieces of each are different sizes to reflect this. This is handy as, the only slight criticism I have of this item, is that all the pieces come jumbled together in the box so you need to work out which pieces are for which puzzle. However, as that’s only 72 pieces in total and they are all slightly different coloured backgrounds, it was relatively easy for my 4 and 2 year olds to do this.

The actual jigsaws are well made and easy to play with. The pieces are made of card and don’t seem overly thick yet they seem stronger than other jigsaws we have. The pieces fit together really well and the pictures are bright and vibrant, representing the characters well.

My children took them back apart again to redo as soon as they had completed them all for the first time. In fact they did them three times in a row before I dragged them away from them to have dinner. I can see them being well used so they are definitely value for money at £5.99 considering how many hours will be spent doing them over and over again.

I give these 5/5 and would definitely recommend them to other Frozen fans.
