If there ever was a time in my life that I needed an eye bag and dark circle cream it was last week, and my prayers were answered.
The day before the cream arrived my 5 year old son, got the first few spots of chickenpox. I am 41 and my skin has never really been problematic, life is just getting busier now and I have started to notice that the area under my eyes is looking puffier, a little darker as I get increasingly more tired.
Then came the chickenpox- so little sleep and tired old eyes, but still I have an older child that still needed to get to school, so rather than scare the mums at the school gate, now was the perfect time to try out the eye cream.
The box that the cream arrived in, is very clinical, it’s appearance is clean, and very professional. It is £29.95 for an 8ml tube, which may seem expensive but you really do need the smallest amount. It can be used over your usual moisturiser and once you have remained emotionless for a few minutes you can apply make-up as usual.
The cream works almost instantly, you can feel your skin tighten and if you do accidently apply too much you simply remove the residue with a tissue. The puffiness feels like it is being sucked away and the skin feels instantly tighter, on the flip side I didn’t feel that the darkness was affected at all. I still used my under-eye concealer for that particular issue. I have used the cream on a daily basis for the last week and my eyes always feel taut an instant boost in a tube. However, I think that I will save the cream for moments such as chickenpox or late night study, for when my eyes really need instant help.
I can see why this could become a beauty must have for those that have problematic eye bags and quite possibly dark circles too.
Out of 5 I would rate this product 3.5, simply because I didn’t feel it hid my dark circles.
