Rococo Chocolates Review

If you’re looking for authentic, but artisan chocolate for Christmas presents or just indulgent treats, then Rococo Chocolates provides both. Their chocolate is a lift above other chocolates due to the passion of founder and CEO, Chantal Coady, who started the Rococo company in 1983 after selling chocolates in Harrods. The ranges of chocolates she has created capture delicate flavours rarely used in confectionary, especially at a level which would be classed as a ‘craft’, which creating chocolates like this, is. We tried the pack of 8 Bee Organic Chocolate mini bars (RRP: £14.95). The flavours range from Earl Grey to Orange Blossom, Rose, Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Persian Basil and Lime. I told you they were cleverly crafted flavours! The Rose chocolate was delicate, and had a hint of the sweetness of roses which reminded me of the old fashioned Turkish delight chocolates from childhood. The Earl Grey bar had a slight crunch but still had the aroma of the dainty tea, as if it were an afternoon tea. We also liked the plain milk chocolate bar, which I swear is a medicinal pick-me-up that would keep me going through the busiest of afternoons.

The bars are all wrapped in extremely pretty packaging. The 8 bar selection we tried are part of the larger range of chocolates, which the website details with beautiful prose. Have a look at their range of hampers on the website, which cater for a range of prices. I’d be happy to receive any of the chocolates and confectionary on offer on the website including the hot chocolate, and the Jello Babes and marshmallows. There’s plenty of presents to find here but even more at their Motcomb Street branch in London. Hen parties and children alike are welcome at their Chocolate School where you can blend your own flavours into bars and see how chocolate is made.

Have a look at their website for your selection of favourite chocolates and sweets for Christmas presents, or just for yourself!
