SIGG Hot & Cold Thermo Bottle Review

I am reviewing the SIGG Hot & Cold Thermo Bottle. SIGG are makers of the original Swiss bottle since 1908.

The bottle I received is turquoise in colour and holds 0.5L. It is durable and lightweight and is fine for soups, tea, coffee, hot chocolate. The flask is double layered so keeps drinks hot for 12 hours and cold drinks cold for 20 hours thanks to the vacuum insulation. It has an easy flip up lid which you can do with one hand! It also has an anti-slip pad on the bottom to avoid from accidental slipping.

It hasn’t leaked when I have used it, which is great, so it avoids leaking into your lunch bag which cheaper alternatives seem to do. I shall use it during the winter to put my coffee or soup in when working my shifts.

This type of bottle cannot go in the dishwasher or microwave so should be rinsed out by hand with hot water every use and left to dry with the top off. For heavy soiling there are SIGG bottle cleaning tablets and the SIGG bottle brush, which is helpful.

There are instructions in all languages which can be located inside the bottle. The writing could be larger as the older generation like me might have trouble reading the small print, but you can also go online to look up on how to look after your SIGG bottle, which should last a life time if looked after.

SIGG also have a number of other products including children’s bottles and metal lunch boxes in cool modern colours, as well as food jars for those hot or cold meals when at work or on a picnic.

I will recommend this SIGG bottle to my friends and family. They come in lots of appealing colours, so all members of the family can have their own one and the price is reasonable too.
