Slimming World Magazine

I was delighted to have the opportunity to review the October 2012 Slimming World magazine. The front cover shot of someone who has done well on the Slimming World plan is a great idea and a wonderful motivator. The 2 things I like best about this particular issue of the magazine is that it came with a little booklet called ‘All your takeaway faves made lighter’. I am yet to try out the recipes but what a wonderful idea. The weather in Manchester has been pretty rotten lately so evenings tend to be spent hibernating at home. It will be great to have my favourite take away foods the healthier way. The other thing that caught my attention was the caption on the cover saying ‘Yummy guilt-free chocolate treats’. Chocolate is my downfall so any way to have it and not feel bad about it is welcomed.
Within the magazine there are loads of positive Slimming World stories and recipes to try out. I love reading tips given by people who have succeeded on the plan. The magazine looks great and has clearly been well thought out. It is reasonably priced and I think it is great that Slimming World members get to buy it at a reduced price. I would definitely consider taking out a subscription on this magazine.
Overall I give this magazine 5/5
