Summer Music festivals in Redcar
You know it’s the height of summer when there’s music festivals on the beach in the UK. Redcar, a seaside town just north of the North York Moors National Park has two evenings of live music in August – one retro revival with 70s and 80s tribute bands and one with top UK DJs – I think we all know which is going to be the picnic and rug event and which is the glow sticks and whistles!!
Redcar is having a resurgence this summer – after £75m spent on its seafront development the former Victorian resort has been transformed. The wide sandy beaches are perfect to party on in Mid-Summer and the host of seafront cafés and attractions are great diversions from the live music.
