2024 Calendars, Diaries, Personalised Birthday Cards and Calendars – Danilo Promotions

This sturdy calendar arrived in a very robust cardboard box (that is recyclable) so was in perfect condition.  It has twelve different ‘scenes’ featuring lots of different Minecraft key characters such as Steve and Creeper, plus fun quotes for each month with a month to view on each page.  On each of these pages there are also spaces for notes and a reasonable sized square for each date.  There is also a poster inside so if you gave this as a gift (either for Christmas or even a birthday if it was in November or December) to a Minecraft enthusiast it would be a nice addition for them. These calendars can also be personalised which would add even more thought if given as a gift.
The calendar is fourteen pages long and measures 36cm by 18cm.  It can be wall hung and is made of good quality responsibly sourced paper.  Danilo only works with suppliers and manufacturers that meet their stringent ethical requirements.

A little more about Danilo:
Danilo has 45 years as Europe’s number one official ‘Licensed Calendars Publisher’.  It started in 1978 when sadly Elvis Presley died.  Following the death of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll Danilo’s chairman, Laurence Prince recognised the mood of the public and their need to celebrate Elvis’ life.  That is how the celebrity calendar is born….. I found that piece of information really interesting as did my family when I shared it with them!
Danilo has a stringent set of core values:
*Quality
*Passionate
*Family Orientated
*Service
*Fun

They have won many awards and are highly regarded in the industry.  Danilo also do Greeting cards, gift wraps and diaries.  The company is family run and they publish and sell official calendars and diaries for popular celebrities, music, sport, gaming, glamour, T.V and film brands.

Back to the Minecraft 2024 square calendar:
I don’t know a lot about Minecraft but do recognise it from my seventeen-year-old grandson’s younger days.  It was originally called Cave game and was created by Markus ‘Notch’ Persson in November 2011.  Minecraft was different from other games at the time because instead of simply creating structures you also had to gather resources to build those structures.  He changed the name to Minecraft using a combination of words, mine, for mining ore in shafts, and craft, as in building or creating something.  I showed the calendar to my grandson who recognised most of the characters and said he liked the format, when I asked would he have it on his wall he just smiled at me!  I think he might be into other things now!  My younger grandson (five and a half) however was thrilled with it!  He knew some of the characters and said, “you can build a house”, when I asked did he have the game he told me he was asking Father Christmas for it but knew lots about it from You Tube!  I think I know where this calendar will be going!

Minecraft has a PEGI age rating for Minecraft of 7+ however I think this calendar can be given to children from 5 years up to 15 years as the younger children would enjoy the illustrations and older children can use the spaces for useful information/dates that they would like to remember.
