Last night we were at the Grove Theatre in Dunstable, Bedfordshire to see The Magic of Motown, This theatre is very easy to get to off the M1. When we arrived there was plenty of parking which was free after 6pm. The car park was about a five minute walk from the theatre. There was a car park for disabled users slightly closer. The theatre itself is a very modern theatre in a new building. There are plenty of toilet facilities which were very clean. Out in the foyer there was a large bar serving a selection of drinks next door to the theatre there is a Weatherspoons pub where you could grab a bite to eat before the show.

After taking out seats in the theatre the show soon began.

There were four band members and seven singers, which consisted of 4 men and 3 ladies.

The cast sang lots of different Motown songs from lots of different artists like the Jackson 5, Diana Ross, Lionel Ritchie, Steve Wonder and many more. The cast got the whole audience involved and all but a few stood up to dance. You were allowed to take photos during the night which is good because at many shows you can’t take photos.

The cast dressed in clothes that come from the Motown era and when they did the Jackson 5 they even wore Afros. One of the girls was the main singer in the Jackson 5.

I would highly recommend the show as it was a very enjoyable night with lots of singing and dancing. There were a number of people in the audience who had seen the show before.

I would definitely go and watch this show again. A wonderful night.
