This series was first aired in the 1980's and was a big hit. I remember it as a teenager and really enjoyed watching this dvd.
Policewoman Maggie Forbes played by Jill Gascoigne in a role as a police detective within the Metropolitan police in London.
It is a great series with lots of good storylines. It was good to see a female in a strong leading role in this era. I also liked the nostalgia side to it i.e. the uniforms and police cars. A good idea to bring it out on dvd. It was great to watch and kept me interested in each storyline.
I loved watching the series again, and would recommend to others, probably more for people of an age that remembers it from the first time round though! But it will also appeal to those who are fans of detective programmes. Overall I enjoyed the trip back in time and loved watching it.
