As soon as I opened the Tommee Tippee training sippee cup my eleven month old was drawn to the vibrant colour. It comes in three colours, green, pink and orange all with a different fruit or vegetable on the front. We were lucky enough to receive the orange cup. I really loved the fact that the cup was available in a unisex colour.
The sippee cup is advertised as non-spill, I thought I would let my eleven month old put this to the test as we all know sometimes these cups end up leaking everywhere, usually when we are out and about. After using it for a few days and my child having thrown it out the pram and on to the floor, I can confirm that it is truly non-spill and hard wearing. You can remove the non-spill spout for free flow drinking if you wanted to, which means this cup could last you quite a long time. The Tommee Tippee 7m+ Training Sippee Cup holds 230ml which I found was just big enough to hold my little ones water for the morning and a top up in the afternoon.
What I like most about this cup is the soft spout, my eleven month old seemed to get on well with this cup on his gums which meant he was drinking more from it. A win-win situation for Mummy.
The handles of the cup are great for little ones learning to grip, my child was able to drink from it one handed no problem at all. What’s great about Tommee Tippee’s new range of cups is that the lids and handles are interchangeable throughout the range, it’s also dishwasher safe which is great for busy mums. I certainly will be picking up a few more of these cups and recommending them to my mummy friends.
