Making Pancakes with OXO Good Grips Review

With Shrove Tuesday (or the more common term of Pancake Day) fast approaching (28 February 2017), I was so excited to get the chance to make pancakes using OXO products.
We were sent the following items:
OXO Good Grips 9” Whisk (RRP: 8)

So, after unpacking and washing all the items what did I think of the OXO products?
I am 42 years old and it was the first time in my life that I have successfully made pancakes. I was apprehensive that the pancakes would end up in numerous pieces, but the pancake turner made life so easy. The mixing bowl stayed put on the work surface (has a non-slip base) while I was whisking up the ingredients and with a 2.8l capacity was more than enough space for a large amount of pancake mixture. The whisk (made from stainless steel and 22cm in length) and pancake turner (made from stainless steel and silicone, 30cm in length with a 15cm width turner) were both really comfortable to hold, which is a relief for myself as I have EDS type 3/fibromyalgia and my friend who I did the cooking with has a painful wrist and often wears a wrist support. Whilst we did not have ice cream with our pancakes, I have used the ice cream trigger scoop (made from stainless steel and 20cm in length) and it is so easy and comfortable to use.
The lemon squeeze & store was great too, you put in your lemon and squeeze. All the lemon juice comes out of the holes while it keeps the lemon pulp and seeds stored in the squeezer, no bits mixed in with the juice. An excellent little item.
Overall, my friend and I really enjoyed our pancake making experience and I think the items will be getting plenty of use right up to Pancake Day on 28 February 2017.
All the items were excellent quality and value for money. All easy to use and perfect additions to any kitchen.
