Wokabi and Friends
Reviewed by Ruth Clements
The cards were well packaged and were presented in a beautiful box.
There are 36 cards in the box, depicting seven different cultures around the world. Each set is made up of 5 cards, which is a 2 more than in similar games, head, shoulders/chest, stomach, legs and feet. They are all beautifully designed with lovely illustration and the multicultural aspect makes them unique. Each child depicted on the cards has a name and there is a map enclosed so it can be seen where each child comes from in the world.
It does say (in English) on the box that there are 5 different games to be played with the cards, but unfortunately all the instructions are in French.
My children are only 2.5 yrs old so maybe a little young to fully appreciate the games, (aimed at 3+) but I enjoy helping them to try to match the cards and make up the children with all body parts in the correct order. As they get older I will try and translate the rules so that we can try some of the games.
Overall a lovely product that can be both fun and educational.
I would rate these 4/5 due to no English translation for the rules.
