Aldi Family Camping Essentials Range Review

Summer is on the way and people will be looking at holidays and may decide on a spot of camping. So from this Sunday (18 June 2017), Aldi are set to launch their Family Camping Essentials range, which includes things from tableware to tents and even a camping kitchen unit, and I was sent a selection of the tableware items to reviews.
When my package arrived, I had received:

Aldi’s Crofton outdoor tableware is perfect for camping, BBQ’s or any form of dining in the garden or for taking on picnics. The items I received are 100% melamine in a stylish ceramic effect. They are lightweight and easy to clean (hand wash only) and available in nautical (anchor) or hearts styles.
The large tray measures 48.2 x 32.2 x 1.9cm and is large enough to take four large bowls 19cm (5cm deep) which would be great for an outdoor breakfast. It has a handle either side to make carrying easy.
The large lidded bowl, which measures 25.5 x 10cm, would be ideal for serving salad, while the rectangular platter 41.5 x 21 x 1.5cm would be great for serving the meat, sausages, steak, burgers etc.
The Anchor-shaped Bowl, measuring 340 x 300 x 50mm, while an odd shape is unique and different and would be great for nibbles.
I won’t be going camping but as the weather here is supposed to hot this weekend I can’t wait to have a BBQ and make full use of these items. They make great camping/picnic items, wash well, are are light enough to carry around in a picnic basket or backpack and great value for money.
