SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Bacon, Egg and Cheese Wrap

Who put peanut butter in a perfectly good breakfast burrito? We did! SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Bacon, Egg and Cheese Wrap sounds suspicious, but we’ll let your taste buds be the judge as we think it’s delicious!

INGREDIENTS

1 x 340g jar SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Extra Smooth

1 large egg, well beaten

1 taco-sized flour tortilla

1 strip bacon, cooked

1 cheese slice

METHOD

  1. In a small lightly greased, non-stick skillet, over a medium-low heat, cook egg, stirring often until set.
  2. Spread tortilla with SKIPPY® Peanut Butter, leaving 1-inch border.
  3. Place bacon slice, cheese and egg down centre of tortilla and fold sides over.
  4. Cut in half, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately.

Peanut Butter Cookie Porridge

This easy peasey porridge is extra crunchy and will take you to peanut butter breakfast heaven!

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

1 x 340g jar SKIPPY® Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter

85g rolled oats

420ml water or milk

¼ teaspoon salt

½ tablespoon brown sugar

½ teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons maple syrup

10g raisins

1 banana, sliced

METHOD

  1. Combine the oats, water (or milk), salt, peanut butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract and maple syrup in a microwaveable dish and cook according to the directions on the pack
  2. Top with raisins and banana slices
  3. Drizzle with melted peanut butter

SKIPPY® Fruit and Nut Sandwich

Serves 4

This open-faced sandwich makes a great breakfast or afternoon snack. A few minutes under the grill and the SKIPPY® Fruit and Nut Sandwich becomes a culinary creation you’ll want to eat all day.

135g SKIPPY® Smooth Peanut Butter

4 English muffins, split and toasted

75g raisins

2 medium apples, cored and thinly sliced

2 rounded teaspoons light brown sugar

1.Heat the grill

2.Spread SKIPPY® Peanut Butter on each English muffin half. Top with raisins and apple slices; sprinkle evenly with brown sugar. Grill for 1 minute or until bubbly.
