Comotomo Teether Review

My son is 8 months old and currently has 2 bottom teeth and his top 2 are due to cut very soon so he is very much a teething little boy.

We have a Sophie la Giraffe but he finds it a bit too big to hold whereas the Comotomo is a nice small size for him. It has a nice soft silicon ring with little “fingers” that have small ridges on the ends. The perfect shape and size for sore little gums. Also with it being so lightweight, this is perfect for very young babies that are starting to teeth but don’t have enough strength to hold heavy, chunky toys or teethers.

My son has quite a range of teething toys but prefers to chew his bib or muslin cloth so I was hoping that he would take to this teether as it would be easy to pick up and rinse. Unfortunately, he hasn’t taken to it as much as I would like and still prefers to choose cloth to chew. He does pick it up a for a play but gets bored with it very quickly.

Because of the ‘finger’ shaped element to it, I imagine this will get chewed a bit more when his back teeth come in as these are the perfect length to reach that area of the gum.

In summary, for those of you with very young, 3-4 month old babies who are starting to chew on things, this is the PERFECT size and weight and very easy to wash and clean.
