Facing the panic of Valentine’s Day gift ideas? Look no further. I have had the great pleasure of reviewing two gift ideas for Valentine’s Day and have a treat in store. Both products I received can be ordered online and come beautifully packaged, ensuring the benefactor feels truly spoilt.

The first item I received was:

Boux Avenue Chloe Lace Plunge Bra and Lace shorts set

The first product I received was a traditional Valentine’s Day style gift, lacy lingerie in a racy red fabric from Boux Avenue; Chloe Lace Plunge Bra RRP £24 in sizes from 28A to 38F and Chloe Lace Shorts RRP £10 in sizes from 6 to 18. I was thrilled opening the Boux Avenue parcel, it was beautifully packaged, wrapped in pink paper and sprinkled with white rose petals. The bra and matching lace shorts are exquisite quality, a silky soft lace, that’s so delicate yet substantial enough to feel. The colour is perfect for a Valentine’s treat, a vivid red but such a beautiful design it would look classy on any lucky lady. I felt so spoilt opening the package and both the bra and shorts did not disappoint. Not only do they look stunning but are equally comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend for any special occasion or if you’d like to treat yourself. With matching Valentine’s sets starting from £25 you won’t break the bank in setting hearts racing. A 5 out of 5.

The second item I received was:

Taupe L.O.V.E Illuminated Canvas

The second product I had the joy of receiving was my taupe small 40x32cm illuminated L.O.V.E canvas (RRP: £34.95) from Illuminated Canvas. The canvas was beautifully packaged in a sturdy box and sealed in branded cellophane. The canvas came with clear instructions on how to fit the batteries, the batteries were not included so keep this in mind if buying as a gift. The canvas is the best of both worlds, it can be understated, fitting in with the décor or standing out and illuminating the room. The lights are beautifully placed and when switched on give a lovely glow to a darkened room. The switch is well hidden at the side of the canvas and the bulbs do not detract from the design, either when lit or switched off. Although it does state on their website that you can read the Word LOVE in the lights when switched on, I couldn’t make out the word LOVE without the writing but this could be due to the small frame size and ability to space the lights out so they don’t merge with each other. The canvas is a beautiful addition to my front room, adding a sparkle of romance to a child free evening. I would definitely recommend illuminated canvas to bring a touch of sparkle and inspiration to any room. 5 out of 5!
