We had a fabulous afternoon at Girls’ Day Out Show at the SECC in Glasgow yesterday, an ideal way to spend a dreich Sunday! There was a great atmosphere and plenty to see and do as well as getting on with some serious Christmas shopping!
Within the 200 exhibitors at Girls’ Day Out, there is everything you could imagine! From teeth whitening, make up, jewellery, accessories, clothing, photography and even gift for the little cherubs and four legged friends in your life! Department and clothing stores such as Debenhams, Oasis and Warehouse offered a super range of party dresses. There were plenty of opportunities for a bit of pampering- massages, hair styling and beauty treatments… I loved the glitter lips!
You can take a break in the Metropolitan Wine & Prosecco bar, Woo Woo or Mojito cocktail bars and there is a good selection of catering within the exhibition hall and in the SECC foyer. Make time to sit back and enjoy the stage performances… fabulous fashion shows or some of the handsome male models getting (some!) of their kit off!
Check out my favourite stand, Lil Bubba Things (www.facebook.com/lilbubbathings) for amazing handmade girls dresses in funky designs which are also reversible and they have a great range of hair accessories too. The cupcakes from Bumblebee Bakehouse (www.bumblebeebakehouse.com) were delicious. Anyone in need of a little boost, drop into ION Body Armour (www.ionbodyarmour.com) for one of their Negative ION Bands.
Get the date in the diary for a day out with the girls next year!
