The very versatile puree is made in Italy from extra virgin olive oil and artichokes.
I have not used artichoke paste before so as suggested on the jar I added to a pasta dish, (I used penne though not tagliatelle). Simply add a generous splash to double cream and warm a little, then stir into your pasta – the result was a delicious, fast and an easy tasty meal!
I also spread on crusty bread and covered with grated cheese, after a minute under the grill it made a yummy snack.
At £3.50 for an 80g jar it is reasonably priced in my opinion, as I still have at least another serving left.
I was very impressed with this product and will be buying in future.
