Frosty Guided Experience

Winter is here and Christmas is coming so went to London for the Frosty Guided Experience on the London Eye, the big wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

We arrived in Westminister at the London Eye and the first thing that struck me was how friendly and welcoming all the stuff were, everything ran smoothly and on time. For winter only the capsule is transformed into a Winter Cave with sound effects of cracking ice and wind, Christmassy smells and ice sculptures – a wonderful multi-sensory experience.

The capsule was so welcoming with warm wintery smells of scrumptious mint chocolate and cinnamon with the sound of a breeze all this made it a truly enjoyable trip that seemed to fly by in no time at all. With the most spectacular views of our capital city this really is something that everyone should experience, you will never forget just how spectacular the views from that far up are.

The tour guide was just lovely and very informative pointing out must see sights with a bit of history to go with it and very approachable if you have any questions at all. The interactive screens dotted around the capsule were very handy and easy to use also pointing out famous building in view.

Everything from the capsule to the ticket area to the toilets were spotlessly clean and tidy I would definitely recommend this to anybody and this is also very family friendly as well which is a great bonus. The free 4d London Eye Experience was also utterly brilliant with fab effects that beat any other 4d experience by far, all in all a thoroughly enjoyable visit to the London Eye, there is not a bad word I can say about our visit.
