Peppa Pig World
Reviewed by Shelley East
What a fabulous family day out!! On this particular day the sun was shining and as I drove into the car park I realised I had left the buggy at home. I was extremely relieved that guest services hire them out for the day for a small fee and a refundable deposit. The queue time was reasonable and all the staff very friendly and helpful on entry.
As you walk into Paultons Park everywhere is clearly signposted. The children were keen to check out Peppa Pig World. This is our second visit to Peppa Pig world. Last summer when it opened we came for the day and it was very, very busy! I was relieved and delighted for the children that they was able to go on all the rides again and still have the opportunity to visit the rest of the park. Peppa Pig world is every toddlers dream! The children were still mesmerized and amazed at all the fun rides and things to do! Whether you’re visiting for a birthday treat or just a well-deserved family day out I would be amazed if anyone left disappointed. On a warm sunny day don't forget to pack sun cream and the children's swimming outfits as there is a muddy puddles splash park which is a lovely new addition to the park inc:-
* Peppa Pig's Balloon Ride
* Windy Castle
* Miss Rabbits Helicopter Flight
* George's Spaceship indoor playzone
* Mr Potatoes outdoor playground (outdoor tree house, rabbit hole, bridges, slides, swings etc
* Georges Dinosaur Adventure (with vegetable patch and characters)
* The biggest Peppa Pig Shop in the UK.( A lovely opportunity to purchase a little gift)
* and so much more to see and do! You could quite easily spend all day there!
We headed off into Paultons Park and the fun didn't end there!! Paultons Park had some special visitors today! Ben and Holly came to visit and had photos taken with the children. My 21m and 3yr old hugged them and Holly gave her wand to the girls which was an absolutely fantastic photo opportunity. There was a professional photographer present taking pictures and you was able to purchase photographs, keyrings etc from the team before exit through a marquee full of lots of Ben and Holly memorabilia which was available for purchase. The staff allowed parents to take photos of your children with Ben and Holly and we didn't feel rushed. The characters were lovely and playful with the children and meeting Ben and Holly was a big highlight to our day! We will definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for future days that any of Peppa's other friends come to visit!
We loved all the fun things to do in Paultons Park! We visited;
* Meerkat Manor
* The African Avery and Emu's
* We watched the penguins being fed at 3.30pm
* Walked the beautiful gardens away from all the hustle and bustle
* There was lots of theme park rides in the park and we fully enjoyed
* The Water Runner
* Jumping Jack
* Jumping Bean
* The Pirate Ship
* Stinger Rollercoaster (not for the faint hearted!)
* Cobra Rollercoaster
* Splash Park and outdoor play area
* Water Mill, River Walk and Weir
A place every family should visit. You will not be disappointed! There is something here for everyone of all ages and abilities. There is an abundance of places to purchase food, ice creams and drinks, lots of photo opportunities and lovely picnic areas if you wanted to have a picnic as a family. The toilets and facilities are clean (I checked!) and all the staff are approachable and informative. The park is well signposted and guest services and first aid are located towards the front of the park and I found them very helpful and polite. It is very refreshing to see people enjoy their jobs and they are highly trained to offer the full family orientated environment. Paultons Park has everything covered for a fun family day out and children under 1m get in free!
We will definitely be visiting again over the summer!
