Spot Goes To The Farm by Eric Hill Review

Reviewed by Rosemary Knight

Spot Goes To The Farm by Eric Hill is a colourful, sturdy, lift-the-flap book for babies, toddlers and adults to enjoy together.

Spot’s dad takes him to visit the farm to look for the baby animals. At first there are none to be found, but eventually Spot discovers the piglets and then shows his dad some kittens.

My two year old granddaughter and I enjoyed reading this lovely book together, lifting the flaps and looking for the babies. What I particularly liked about this book was that the baby animals were given the correct names, e.g. kittens, calves, foals and piglets.

This is a lovely book recommended for 1 – 4 year olds.
