I was delighted to receive 2 pairs of beautiful start-rite shoes for my twin boys who are 2½ and seem to be always on the move.
I chose the Flexy-Soft Milan Red Leather Boys Riptake First Walking Shoes for Jack. The style is simple yet stunning. He can easily get them on and off because of the Riptape fastening (similar to Velcro). There is just enough growing room. The fit comfortably and the Riptape makes them adjustable. They are lightweight, have a flexible sole for comfort, have soft leather uppers and padded ankles and are leather lined so they absorb moisture which helps keep his little feet dry. RRP: £41
Both of my boys are a width fitting of F, but Jack’s twin Tom’s feet are a whole size bigger. For my cheeky little Tom I chose the Super Soft Sam, Grey Leather Boys First Walking Shoes. I love the colour combination of grey and then very subtle lime and blue. He loves his pretend big boy shoe laces. As with Jack, Tom can get his own shoes on and off due to the simple Riptape fastening. As with Jack’s shoes they also have a flexible sole for comfort, have super soft leather uppers and padded ankles, are leather lined so they absorb moisture which helps keep his little feet dry and also have a bump toe protector and a removable sock. RRP: £36
My twins have done a few school runs and days out wearing them. You only have to look at them to see that they ooze quality. These are the first pair of start-rite shoes which I have had for my boys and they won’t be the last!
The start-rite shoes are quality, well-made and comfortable that are not only practical but look great.
