Storage 24 is a British Sci-fi horror thriller set in London.

A military cargo plane carrying a top secret cargo crashes in the centre of London near Hyde Park. It’s highly classified load is now free and the city in placed in lockdown.

The plane crash has caused chaos around the area especially to Storage 24, a self-storage unit, knocking out phone lines and playing havoc with the security systems.

Charlie (Noel Clarke) and his best friend Mark (Colin O’Donoghue) are going to the storage unit as he knows his ex-girlfriend Shelley (Antonia Campbell-Hughes) and her friend Nikki (Laura Haddock) and her boyfriend Chris (Jamie Thomas King) will be there dividing up their possessions.

Once they are all inside the power keeps going out and they are locked into the storage facility with no way out and there is something nasty locked in with them that is hunting them down in the maze of endless corridors. They are now in a fight for their lives.

Overall, I found this to be quite an enjoyable film. Before watching this I assumed it would be another run of the mill alien killing people movie but it was surprising good. The plot was very good and well acted and the special effects for the alien were great. Quite gruesome and gory in parts. With the alien kept under wraps and only catching glimpses of it in the shadows for the first half of the film when it did appear in full menacing detail it was excellent.

One to watch.

Rating: 4/5
