Thriller Live Certainly lived up to its name, high octane song and dance from start to finish celebrating the sound and character of the legendary Michael Jackson.
The show opened with Emmanuel Sakyi leading the Jackson Five hits of the 60’s, moving through the decades with iconic songs such as Smooth Criminal, Bad, Dirty Diana and of course, Thriller. The show illustrates the breadth of Jackson’s talent in pop, rock and disco both as writer and performer.
The staging was used to great effect, with the video screens and lighting used to create an atmospheric back drop to the performers.
Thriller Live will appeal to all ages, to those that remember the songs first time round and also those that still enjoy dancing the night away to Michael Jackson hits.
